I've been thinking about the Ten Commandments and the other basic rules of religion. I'm pretty sure that all religions have "The Golden Rule" as one of their basic premises.
Here are five the I've created:
1. The Golden Rule
2. Good Faith Effort - you don't have to get it right, you do have to try pretty hard
3. Practice Empathy - walk a little in other's shoes.
4. 16th Minute - if you don't agree with something, watch for 15 minutes before disagreeing or going into a tirade.
5. Be Accountable - For everything that you do, be able to say, "Yes, I did that"
